The aim of the Open Minds website is to be as accessible to as many visitors as possible; regardless of their browser type, operating system and screen resolution.
Rather than using just the mouse, we have constructed the website so you can easily navigate around the site using things called 'access keys'.
Access keys allow a computer user to immediately jump to a specific part of a web page via the keyboard.
The list of access keys for this website are as follows:
* Home = "1"
* Navigation = "S"
* Main Content = "Y"
* Sidebar = "Z"
* Footer = "F"
* Get Involved = "e"
* Case Studies = "d"
* Contact = "C"
* Accessibility = "0"
* Privacy = "P"
Each web browser and operating system render these access keys differently. The list of command keys for Windows web browsers are shown below:
* Google Chrome = 'Alt' + access key (Please note - in some instances 'Shift' is required)
* Firefox = 'Alt' + 'Shift' + access key
* Internet Explorer = 'Alt' + access key
* Opera = 'Shift' + 'Esc' + access key
* Safari = 'Alt' + access key
The list of command keys for Mac web browsers are shown below:
* Google Chrome = 'Ctrl' + 'opt' + access key
* Firefox = 'Ctrl' + access key (Please note - in some instances 'Enter' is required)
* Safari 3 = 'Ctrl' = access key
* Safari 4 and higher = 'Ctrl' + 'opt' + access key
