Since joining in late 2010, I’ve managed to meet lots of people in the group and make some new friends. There are members about my age in Open Minds and all of them face some form of isolation daily, so this group provides welcome relief.

I have started to volunteer for the group and been asked to help organise our next trip to Leicester Space Centre. This trip should be an exciting time for lots of people, as many have never been. For me it’s a challenge to organise an event a task I wouldn’t have been able to do elsewhere.
