Open Minds meet 1pm - 4pm on the last Saturday of every month at the Nottingham Mechanics Institute, 3 North Sherwood Street, just off Shakespeare Street in Nottingham city centre. Access The building is fully accessible with disabled toilets and a lift suitable for all wheelchairs. The Meetings Every meeting is led by our friendly meetings facilitator, Sue Morecroft. Members decide what they would like to do each month and Sue makes it happen. In recent months we have held art & music workshops, story telling workshops, discussion groups and been entertained by guest speakers. If you would like some lunch before the meeting, there is a café in the building serving hot and cold food and drinks. Matthew Knight, our Development Worker, is happy to meet new people anywhere they like and bring them to the meeting until they settle in.
